Specially important with disorders that started in childhood. Some people may not have answers to this.

Recall any delay with language or motor development.

In any part of psychiatric interview, some patients may occasionally prefer not to discuss certain aspects of their life. If information is given, remember what sort of childhood one had (happy, traumatic etc and give some examples). Also described relationship with family members.

List any support needed from school, any friends, any bullying, truanting or exam and academic attainment.

List any job and duration as well as reason for living the job.

List any relationships, duration and general description (supportive, chaotic, abusive etc). Presence of family or friends in their life. For Children, list age or who cares for them.
